Brock students from RECL 4P64 — Innovation in Recreation and Leisure Services met with community organizations and explored public spaces during a field experience led by Kyle Rich, Associate Professor of Recreation and Leisure Studies, on Saturday, Feb. 3. Venues and organizations involved in the field experience included Exhibition Place, Parks People, The Bentway, One Yonge Recreation Centre, Outward Bound and the Bathurst Quay Commons project. The Bathurst Quay Commons project site (pictured) includes the historic Canada Malting Company property and aims to improve access to the waterfront and create flexible spaces for the community.
