The Brock Badgers Cross Country team hosted its fifth annual Badger Invitational high school race Thursday, Oct. 5 in the trails and sports fields west of the Walker Sports complex and Village Residence. A record of more than 250 high school runners from 21 schools across Southern Ontario took part in the event's six races. The annual Badger Invitational is organized and run by the varsity cross country team as a fundraiser to help them cover their costs of competing in Ontario University Athletics races around the province.
