In Walker Courtyard, the early rays of a spring day light up Robert S. K. Welch, who served 15 years as as Brock's fifth Chancellor, from 1985-2000. The former Deputy Premier of Ontario and long-time St. Catharines MPP was a familiar face across the community, and was universally known as 'Bob'.
