English grad students present research at virtual colloquium

With public health restrictions preventing a traditional in-person event, the Brock University English Language and Literature Graduate Program moved its Graduate Student Colloquium online Tuesday, April 27. The virtual gathering, “Open Windows, Closed Doors: A Pandemic-Based Graduate Experience,” was an opportunity for English Master of Arts students to present their major research projects. The event, which welcomed more than 40 guests, was hosted by Graduate Program Director Gale Coskan-Johnson and cohort (pictured from top left) Kostyn Petrunick, Jakob Vujovic, Leslie Czegeny, (from bottom left) Emily Gabet, Diana Vasu and Blake Carter. After watching the research presentations, guests were able to live chat with students and discuss the projects in further detail. The projects are available online here.
