Steve Orsini (right), President and CEO of the Council of Ontario Universities, joined Lesley Rigg (left), President and Vice-Chancellor of Brock University, and Debbie Inglis (centre), Director of Brock’s Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI), for a tour of the University’s flagship research institute on Monday, March 20. Having previously worked in alcohol policy, Orsini was keen to get updated on the latest developments in the Ontario grape and wine sector and learn how CCOVI is working to support the industry with research, outreach and education. While on campus, he also toured the Brock-Niagara Validation, Prototyping and Manufacturing Institute (VPMI) and met with senior Brock leadership.
