Former Canadian Olympic rower Chris Jarvis, who speaks openly about his Type 1 diabetes diagnosis, spent time with 25 children also living with the condition during Brock University's Sports School on Thursday, Aug. 15. The founder of I Challenge Diabetes — a charity that aims to empower those living with Type 1 diabetes by providing support services and challenging programs to test the limits of living with the disease — participated in the camp's activities with the youngsters.
