Bursary contribution supports Trinidadian students

International Student Life Specialist Carolyn Villella (left) and Executive Director, Development and Donor Relations Amelia Canto (second from left) received a contribution for the St. Catharines and Regional Niagara Twinning Bursary on Monday, Feb. 26 from the St. Catharines and Regional Niagara Twinning Association, represented by Vice-President Helen Atteck (second from right) and President Chelsea Watterworth (right). Brock University has cultivated a strong partnership with the Twinning Association stemming from the official twinning of St. Catharines and Port-of-Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. The decades-long connection has empowered the University to provide educational opportunities to Trinidadian students. The donation underscores a continued commitment to supporting students’ aspirations and fostering cross-cultural exchange at Brock.
