A dramatic weekend at MIWSFPA

Celebrated scholars Julie Salverson from Queen's University and Kathleen Gallagher from the Ontario Institute for Education in Applied Theatre delivered keynote lectures and led workshops during a dramatic arts symposium held Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts. The event, called The State of Our Art: Drama in Education and Applied Theatre in Ontario,also included workshops by Joe Norris from Brock University, Belarie Zatzman from the York University School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design, and David Booth and Larry Swartz from the Ontario Institute of Education in Applied Theatre. Swartz is pictured leading his workshop through minimal dialogue script exercises.
