University Vice-Provost Greg Finn, far left, is seen with 22 Brock students, alumni, staff and faculty at the Cape of Good Hope, the most south-western point on the African continent. The contingent was in southern Africa last month on the Brock Abroad Namibia 2018 trip. The group began in Cape Town, South Africa, where they were introduced to the history of southern Africa, before travelling to Windhoek, Namibia where they volunteered at a number of placements throughout Katutura Township, including organizing and running sporting activities during a three-day overnight camping trip for elementary and secondary aged students and running a ‘Wellness Day’ event over two days at the Bernard Noorkamp Centre.
