Jo-Anne Sinnige-Egger, Student Facilitator with Child and Youth Studies, was one of a dozen Brock employees who took part in the University's first United Way Day fundraiser on Wednesday, Aug. 28. For a $5 fee, faculty and staff had the opportunity to try the on-campus high ropes course and rock climbing wall. Proceeds will be directed to Brock's United Way fundraising campaign, which officially kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the annual Souper Star Lunch in Market Hall. A second United Way Day is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26 and will feature an archery lesson. Employees can reserve a time slot via the Brock Recreation website. Departments interested in booking a group team building climb with the ropes course or rock wall are invited to contact Greg Zwiep, Program Manager with Brock Recreation, at x5779 or gzwiep@brocku.ca
