Student exhibition “Abstract/Abstracted: This is not a tree” opening at Rodman Hall

Rodman Hall preparator Matt Tegal hangs Emily Donaldson's work Friday in preparation for the student exhibit "Abstract/Abstracted: This is not a tree." The show, which opened Saturday, includes works from the gallery's permanent collection and artistic responses by students. Curated by Professors Catherine Pararye and Shawn Serfas, the exhibit is a joint project by students in Brock Visual Arts course "Intermediate Painting" and Studies in Arts and Culture course "Critical Writing in the Arts". The show runs until Feb. 12 at Rodman Hall Art Centre, with an opening reception Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
