The future is bright for sixth-year Concurrent Teacher Education student Sheina Meatherall (left), one of more than 250 students who attended the third annual Teacher Recruitment Fair on Oct. 1 in Market Hall. Hosted by the Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) team, the industry-focused event brought more than 30 education partners to campus, including school boards across Ontario and international partners in New Zealand, Australia and United Kingdom. Meatherall, who will embark on her teaching career next year, spoke with Mursal Asan (right) and Katie Wideman (centre) from Halton District School Board to learn about upcoming opportunities and the communities it serves.
