Four Brock students attended Start-Up Fest in Montreal this week, where they watched presentations on topics such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence, and participated in several competitions with cash prizes to help fund their start-up ventures. Harrison Olajos, Drew MacNeil, Ahmed Jawa and Evan Sitler are all active entrepreneurs who are currently working on their business idea with the help of BioLinc. Now in its sixth year, Start-up Fest is an international event dedicated to the growth of start-ups, providing students with networking opportunities and expert advice from successful Canadian entrepreneurs.
