Susan Rogers, a professor of cognitive neuroscience at Berklee College of Music, shared insight into neuroaesthetics and music with nearly two dozen Brock students and employees Monday, Oct. 23. The lecture is one of three Rogers is giving while in town, including "The Music of Listening" on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre. The event will feature live music, stories of Rogers' time as a record producer and sound engineer for musicians such as Prince and Barenaked Ladies, and a discussion about why individuals are attracted to the music they love. The event is open to the public and tickets are pay-what-you-can, including free.
