Milestone moment for future nurses

Graduating Brock Nursing students wore their achievements — and the legacy of nurses who came before them — with pride during a pinning ceremony Thursday, April 24. Harkening back to Florence Nightingale, a pioneer of modern nursing, the rite of passage celebrated the success of Brock's Bachelor of Science in Nursing students and affirmed their commitment to providing compassionate, ethical and skilled care. Among the dozens of recipients was Lauren Teehan (right), who proudly accepted her pin from Karyn Taplay, Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing.
