Annika Mazzarella, in pink, and Ashleigh Baxter try out mermaid tails in the pool at Brock University Tuesday, Nov. 17. The fins were brought in by the YMCA, which offers fitness classes using the mermaid tails. Instructor Samantha Slofstra said the suits, which are worn on the legs, make swimming a great core workout. Another class will be held in the pool Thursday.
