Summer is a busy time for collaboration and research in the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex. Assistant Professor of Health Sciences Rebecca MacPherson recently found herself in the middle of three research groups from the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences departments of Health Sciences and Kinesiology, as well as students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Science. “I’m always happy to connect with students about their research interests,” MacPherson says. “We all work really well together and there is a lot to be learned by discussing our interests with each other.” The professor, centre, is flanked by students, from left, Kaitlyn Colonna (Kinesiology), Danny Marko (Health Sciences), Tyler Dunham (Kinesiology), Matt Mueller (Biological Sciences), Grant Hayward (Health Sciences) and Sam Toole (Biological Sciences).
