With physical distancing regulations still in effect, a group of 2020 graduates who have completed the University’s Med Plus program were invited to participated in a virtual party. Along with Med Plus staff, the 2020 cohort gathered online Thursday, June 4 to reminisce together and open packages they had been sent from the University, which included a memorabilia gift, local sweet treats, party poppers and balloons. This year, eight Med Plus graduates have been accepted to medical school, six have been accepted to allied health professional schools, including naturopathic medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and midwifery, and eight have been accepted into graduate studies.
