Ahead of Indigenous Veterans Day on Sunday, Nov. 8, the Hadiya'dagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre hosted beaded poppy workshops on Brock’s two campuses, in both St. Catharines and Burlington. On Friday, Nov. 6, Melissa McCormick from the Office of People and Culture spent her lunch hour creating a beaded poppy and honouring the service and stories of Indigenous veterans at the St. Catharines campus.
