Lightening the mood

Students in Brock’s Recreation and Leisure Studies program recently immersed themselves in a Mood Walks hike on the scenic Bruce Trail as part of RECL 2P15 — Understanding Communities and Community Organizations. Led by Canadian Mental Health Association Ontario in collaboration with Hike Ontario and Conservation Ontario, Mood Walks promote mental and physical wellness through nature-based “green exercise” and have been proven to reduce stress, improve concentration and enhance mood. Register via ExperienceBU to join the next hike on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
