University Road East was closed the morning of Monday, Sept. 19 to accommodate a boom truck setup on the south side of the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex. The boom truck was being used to lift equipment to the building's rooftop. The road reopened around 9 a.m. The equipment being lifted will allow workers to inspect the exterior class curtain around the building.
