Learning one stitch at a time

Boomer the Badger joined Hadiya’dagénhahs Centre Operations Supervisor Syerra Jasmin (BA ’19, BEd ’22) in the Makerspace during a Ribbon Skirt Workshop held Wednesday, June 24 as part of Indigenous Peoples Awareness Week (IPAW). Participants learned to measure, sew and create their own ribbon skirts while exploring Indigenous cultural teachings and creative expression. More information on IPAW activities, which continue throughout the week, is available on ExperienceBU.
