Brock students explored snowy forests and frozen lakes during a recent field experience. Part of a Recreation and Leisure course, the trip gave students an opportunity to plan and execute an overnight outdoor education experience at YMCA Camp Pine Crest from Friday, Feb. 6 to Sunday, Feb. 8. YMCA Camp Pine Crest — which operates on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat peoples, specifically within the Robinson-Huron Treaty area — works to support reconciliation through land-based education. Second-year Recreation and Leisure Studies student Taylor From (left) was one of the campers on the trip.
