Provost Greg Finn was working in his office on the 13th floor of Schmon Tower on Friday when he glanced out the window and noticed the pigeons were a bit more skittish than normal. Then this Cooper's Hawk landed on the ledge outside. The Provost happened to have his camera at hand. "All the time it sat there, it kept looking up to get a view of potential afternoon snacks." Feeding mostly on birds and small mammals, the Cooper's Hawk hunts by stealth, catching prey with its rapid, powerful flight.
