On Sunday, Sept. 10, members of the Brock University community Mike Buckley, Gary Commerford (current Chair of Brock’s Board of Trustees), Costa Metallinos, Valerie McLean, Josh Sekel, John Senn, John Suk (former Chair of Brocks Board of Trustees) Karl Thorp (Team Captain) and Evangelia Tsiani will be riding up to 100 km in the ninth annual Big Move Cancer Ride cycling event in St Catharines. Together the team has raised a total of $58,000 over the years to help the Walker Family Cancer Centre in providing state of the art cancer detection and fighting equipment while enhancing patient care. This centre also allows patients to receive their treatments and care close to home with the much needed support from their families.
