During the event, archaeologist and Adjunct Professor Kimberly Monk also spoke to Brock retirees about the exciting work she and students have been doing at the former Shickluna Shipyard. Attendees learned about the history of the site, located along Twelve Mile Creek, and the work that has gone into researching and excavating the remains of Louis Shickluna’s 19th century shipyard.
