Indoor ice rink transforms Isaac’s into warm winter wonderland

Brock University's Frost Week kicked off with the return of an indoor synthetic ice rink in Isaac's Bar and Grill. Students are invited to borrow complimentary ice skates and take part in the quintessential Canadian winter pastime Monday, Jan. 13 and Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The warm winter wonderland also features two hockey shootout stations and free drop-in skating lessons led by members of the Brock women's hockey and ringette teams Monday, Jan. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. In addition to free ice skating, the annual winter term orientation event includes a variety of wellness and student success initiatives as well as a comedy hypnosis show, vendor fair, headphone disco, free breakfast and Friday night concert by indie artist bülow.
