The Department of History held a Book Party on March 10 to celebrate recent faculty publications. Professor Renee Lafferty-Salhany spoke about Professor Maureen Lux's book "Separate Beds: A History of Indian Hospitals in Canada 1920s-1980s," published by University of Toronto Press in 2016. Professor Carmela Patrias introduced Associate Professor Ning Wang's book "Banished to the Great Northern Wilderness: Political Exile and Re-education in Mao's China," released in January by UBC Press.
