Grimsby Councillor Reg Freake, who also serves as Chair of the Town’s Economic Development Committee, and Economic Development Manager Frank Miele toured Brock University’s Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) and the Brock-Niagara Validating, Prototype and Manufacturing Institute (VPMI) on Tuesday, Jan. 13. During the tour, CCOVI Director Debbie Inglis and CCOVI scientist Jennifer Kelly showcased research and partnerships supporting Niagara’s grape and wine sector.
