More than 40 Brock University Sport Management students spent last week lending a helping hand at the 2023 Grey Cup in Hamilton. Students in SPMA 4P98 — Canadian Football Championship Events took on leadership roles during festival events in the week leading up to game day, working with event management professionals on the halftime show as well as executives from the Canadian Football League head office for various corporate activations. Students were able to immerse themselves in understanding the logistics, planning, execution and decision making associated with the large-scale, high-profile sporting event.
