From Singapore to the Niagara Escarpment

Greeted on campus by Christina Bosilo, Director of Brock International, the group then took in an outdoor talk on Indigenous representation in municipal governance from Assistant Professor of Political Science Joanne Heritz (centre). The visit continued with a walking tour led by Associate Professor of Geography and Tourism Studies David Brown to view Douglas Cardinal's Sunflame sculpture, the Indigenous Healing Garden, the Brant and Norton statues, and other points of Indigenous significance on campus before the group followed the Niagara Indigenous Heritage Trail to visit Decew House Heritage Park and the First Nations Peace Monument.
