From grapes to government insight

Member of Parliament for Niagara West Dean Allison (right) toured Brock University's Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) on Thursday, Oct. 16. Allison, who represents a riding that is home to many vineyards, discussed CCOVI’s vital role in supporting grape growers and winemakers through research and innovation and highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between government and institutions like CCOVI to strengthen the wine industry across Niagara and beyond. He was joined by CCOVI Director Debbie Inglis (left) and Interim Vice-President, External Meaghan Rusnell (centre) during his visit.
