Students in CRIM/SOCI 4P01 — Service Learning in Community Justice shared their experiences of learning about social justice issues while working with community organizations during a public showcase held Wednesday, Nov. 19. Fourth-year Critical Criminology students April Metcalfe (centre), Corrigan Nadeau (not pictured) and Jaya Maharaj (left) discussed how their placements at Southridge Shelter illuminated the impact of the criminal justice system on housing and food insecurity. The second event in the CRIM/SOCI 4P01 showcase series takes place Wednesday, Nov. 26 at noon in the Rankin Family Pavilion's third-floor atrium.
