Second-year Speech Language and Hearing Sciences student Mya Booker (left) showed high school students how to transcribe their names using International Phonetic Alphabet symbols during Brock University’s Social Sciences Day on Dec. 5. The Faculty of Social Sciences hosted more than 300 high school students from the Niagara region and beyond, giving them opportunities to explore career paths in the social sciences and participate in interactive activities led by current students and faculty.
