Mark Corker, Executive Director of Burlington-based MTechHub, toured the Brock-Niagara Validation, Prototyping and Manufacturing Institute (VPMI) with VPMI Mass Spec Instrument Technologist David Bowman on Tuesday, June 20. Corker was on campus to meet with Professional and Continuing Studies, and Co-op, Career and Experiential Education to discuss opportunities for collaboration before touring Brock’s Makerspace and VPMI. The visit showcased a range of innovative technologies available to students, researchers and community partners. MTechHub signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University in 2022 in an effort to improve the productivity, employment and export growth of the manufacturing industry in Ontario, and to foster opportunities for collaboration in research, service and student experiential learning.
