Brock welcomed high school students to campus as part of the University’s annual Ability and Empowerment Day, which gives students who identify as disabled or use accommodations to support their learning an introduction to university life. Grade 11 St. John’s College student Zoe Duggan (right) and her mother Mandy (second from right), who travelled from Brantford, spoke with Library Assistants Connor Wilkes (left) and Evelyn Smith about the student supports offered at Brock University Library during the Feb. 19 event. The event was supported by the Office of Human Rights and Equity, Student Recruitment and the PACHRED Anti-ableism and mental health working group.
