The Neuromechanics and Ergonomics Lab has a special visitor this December straight from the North Pole. Inspecting the new Wristbot technology, purchased with thanks to the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) was this little JELF who’s name is an homage to the granting agency. “We know the robotics technology used in this lab has applications for pilots, surgeons, dentists and construction workers, but now it would seem it is applicable to elves too,” quips Kinesiology Assistant Professor Michael Holmes.
