Hadiya’dagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre Director Cindy Biancaniello (left), also known as Elder Anauta, demonstrated the lighting of a qulliq for Centre Operations Supervisor Syerra Jasmin during an IAMINUK session at Pond Inlet on Monday, March 16. Elder Anauta shared stories, photos and teachings about Inuit culture, including clothing, food, tools and the significance of the seal hunt, before leading a hands-on seal skin wallet workshop.
