Student Advisor and Recruiter Kaitlyn Austin (BSc ’24) and Indigenous Plus Consultant Evelyn Dilworth (BEd ’24, BA ’24) of the Hadiya’dagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre led a land acknowledgment workshop in Pond Inlet on Monday, June 16, offering guidance and resources for members of the Brock community working to develop meaningful, personal land acknowledgment statements. The event was part of the University's Indigenous Peoples Awareness Week initiatives, which continue until Thursday, June 19.
