CPA Symposium explores circular economy movement

The Goodman School of Business CPA Ontario Centre for Public Policy and Innovation in Accounting hosted its annual CPA Symposium on Nov. 3 to educate and engage the community in the circular economy movement. The symposium brought researchers, students, local chartered professional accountants (CPAs), business leaders and local government officials together to explore how individuals and businesses can create a more sustainable and resilient economy. Included was a seminar on climate risk and asymmetric cost behaviour with Brock Associate Professor of Accounting Sohyng Kim and Professor of Accounting Cheol Lee from Wayne State University (pictured speaking).
