Brock University believes in keeping the conversation about mental health going. President Gervan Fearon was recently presented with one of two 'Convo Plates' that currently have a home on campus. The decorative dish, now on display in the President's office, is intended to not only spark mental health conversations, but to also inspire people to take action to support their mental health every day. Fearon was presented with the dish by Sarah Pennisi, Director of Brock's Student Wellness and Accessibility Centre. The Paul Hansell Foundation, an organization committed to raising youth mental health awareness, created the #ConvoPlate movement in hopes of seeing the dishes make their way around the world.
