Students in Professor Hevina Dashwood’s Canadian Foreign Policy class learned about “Romanticism and Realism: Wellsprings of Canadian Diplomacy” from guest speaker Greg Donaghy during class on Tuesday, Nov. 13. The Political Science students were joined by Donaghy, the Head of the Historical Section at Global Affairs Canada, as part of the experiential education component of the POLI 3P28 course focusing on Canadian foreign policy formulation, policy objectives and outcomes in a globalized context. Following the talk, students were invited to participate in an engaging Q&A session as well as learn more about careers in the public service.
