Several undergraduate students from the Department of Child and Youth Studies (CHYS) gathered in Pond Inlet on Tuesday, March 12 for the first biannual CHYS Mentorship Café. The event provided students with opportunities to develop skills in crucial areas such as exam preparation, essay writing, oral presentations and professional correspondence. Stress management was also a key focus as students approach the end of term. Participants asked questions and heard from graduate students, faculty members and staff, including academic advisors, about shared experiences, tips and strategies for success.
