Reading Week is a time for rest and relaxation. For nearly two dozen Brock students, it was also an opportunity to make a difference in the local community. Through Brock Alternative Reading Week events, a group of 11 students volunteered at Small Scale Farms on Wednesday, Oct. 11, and another group of 11 volunteered at the United Way Niagara's Garden Hub on Thursday, Oct. 12. Both organizations strive to provide food security for those in need in Niagara. Brock Cares provides monthly volunteer opportunities with local community partners for students.
