Brock University students and employees came together Tuesday, May 31 in support of the Rankin Cancer Run, collectively raising $1,200. The annual fundraiser for local cancer-care organizations took place remotely this year, with participants organizing their own routes. Brock’s Human Resources and Student Life and Success teams led the initiative on campus and mapped out one- and five-kilometre routes in which participants could walk, run or roll. Among the team's 31 members was Brock's Interim President Lynn Wells, who participated in the event for the first time, as well as three cancer survivors.
