Shortly after the Brock men's basketball team won the National Championship consolation final in Halifax on Sunday, dominating Acadia Axeman 94-57, a coach load of happy Badger fans were preparing to settle in for the 24-hour drive back to Niagara. But before they hit the road, Badger star players Dani Elgadi an Johneil Simpson (standing near the back in the right-hand part of this photo) made their way to the bus to say goodbye and thank the faithful for making the journey. Brock's supporters earned a reputation in Halifax for their boisterous support, and the players appreciated it. "Event organizers commented many times on our fans," said one member of the Brock contingent.
