With vegetable garden season around the corner, members of Brock’s Facilities Management Grounds Services team have been preparing the University’s Community Garden plots for spring planting. Horticultural Technician Luke Kwiatkowski (right) and Leadhand Ryan Yungblut spent the morning of Wednesday, May 18 moving debris and mixing soil at the garden, which is located beside the entrance to the Zone 2 parking lot near Theal House. To fulfil growing interest, five new plots will be added, bringing the total to 33. All plots have been claimed for the season; however, interested faculty, staff and students can email John Dick, Manager, Grounds Services, to be added to a waitlist.
