Thursday's Special Needs Activity Program (SNAP) had a very special guest. Boomer the Badger was happy to join a game of parachute while visiting the children in the Ian Beddis Gymnasium. SNAP is a developmentally appropriate physical activity program offered to children and youth with disabilities in the Niagara region. It is organized in a station-based pedagogy and implemented using an embedded movement education curriculum. SNAP is an opportunity for Brock student volunteers to gain experiential knowledge by working with children in a field that interests them.
