Student Advisor and Recruiter Kaitlyn Austin (BSc ’24) and her colleagues at the Hadiya'dagénhahs First Nations, Métis and Inuit Student Centre assembled bead kits and other personal care items throughout the summer for those displaced from their homes in northern Manitoba due to forest fires. The team worked with community partners to distribute the kits to more than 50 families.
