When Brock's men's and women's basketball teams went to Toronto on Wednesday (Nov. 8) to play conference rival Ryerson, they didn't go alone. Five busloads carrying nearly 230 Brock fans stormed Ryerson's gym to cheer on the Badgers. While the Brock women dropped an 81-58 decision, the men's team — ranked No. 2 in the country — stayed undefeated for the season, winning an 80-75 overtime thriller and handing Ryerson its first home court loss since 2014. The excitement is building for a showdown on Dec. 2 at the Meridian Centre in downtown St Catharines, when the Badgers host Carleton Ravens, whose men's team is ranked tops in Canada.
